Gordon Pottery Country: USA Design: could be a design from the Cole family Size: 10.5” Production date: 1930’s Note: Base on research I would say this piece is definitely southern, most likely by the Cole family and done under contract, hence the Gordon Pottery stamp.

One of the Coles (not exactly sure which one) Country: USA Size: 3” Production date: 1930’s Note: A message from a NC collector said “it does looks like a Cole piece, but the bottom is washed cleaner than JB Cole's style. Although it has a sanded bottom typical of JB Cole.Another possibility is AR Cole. It doesn't really look like CC Cole piece but I can't say for sure. Another possibility is this is a piece by Philmore Grave, husband of Nell Cole. I was told that this form is not in the 1932 catalogue but there are some examples with this wonderful lip that were done by Philmore Graves.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.
